You can be part of the #PlasticRevolution!

We collected over 30 tonnes of plastic off one Kenyan beach. It suddenly struck me, what if we could use all this waste plastic and build something impressive to create awareness globally about plastic pollution. It seemed like a crazy idea at the time but what if all this plastic waste could be used to build a traditional sailing dhow and we could sail it down the coast of East Africa stopping at villages down the way to demonstrate how we can turn trash into treasure instead of throwing plastic away...
For the past two years, we have worked relentlessly to prove that it is possible and successfully completed a 7mt prototype made entirely of recycled plastic! To make the 5000km journey to Cape Town, we need to build a boat twice this size and that's where we need your help: we are asking for donations of not more than $10 to $50 and if you would like to donate more, than ask your friends, family or coworkers to get involved. When we reach our target we will turn 60 tonnes of Ocean trash into a boat big enough to reach all four corners of the globe and that is what will kick start the plastic revolution worldwide...
