Our Ambassadors

James Wakibia, a Nakuru native, transformed into an environmental activist fueled by his frustration with plastic pollution in his hometown. Driven by passion and a strong desire for lasting change, Wakibia initiated campaigns advocating for a ban on plastic bags capturing the attention of many, including the Kenyan government who then declared a ban on all single-use plastic carrier bags. Wakibia perceives plastic as a universal environmental threat and emphasizes the need for collective efforts to combat it. His mantra being "Less Plastic is fantastic,".

Éric Loizeau is a French adventurer known for his achievements in sailing and mountaineering. A pioneer in modern sailing, he has earned prestigious awards, including skipper of the year in 1978 and world multihull champion in 1986. Despite his success in sailing, Loizeau shifted his focus to become a mountaineer in 1990. As a thrill-seeker, he successfully climbed Mount Everest in 2003 and remains involved in sailing, actively contributing to the protection of oceans and the fight against plastic pollution through his ambassadorship with Race For Water and Flipflopi Project.
